【Properties】
This product is a colorless clear liquid.
[Pharmacological action] This product is a synthetic prostaglandin F2α homologue. It has a powerful lysis of the corpus luteum, which can quickly cause the corpus luteum to regress and inhibit its secretion. It also has a direct excitatory effect on uterine smooth muscle, which can cause contraction of uterine smooth muscle and relaxation of the cervix. Animals with normal sexual cycle usually estrus within 2 to 5 days after treatment. Pregnant cows between 10 and 150 days of gestation usually have a miscarriage 2 to 3 days after the injection.
[Function and use] Prostaglandins. It has a powerful lysis of the corpus luteum and direct stimulation of uterine smooth muscle. It is mainly used to control cow estrus and pregnant sows to induce childbirth.
[Usage and Dosage] Intramuscular injection: one dose, cattle 2 ~ 3ml; pig pregnancy from 112 to 113 days 0.5 ~ 1ml.
[Adverse reactions] Applying this product in the late pregnancy can increase the risk of dystocia and reduce the drug efficacy.
[Notes] (1) Animals that maintain pregnancy are prohibited.
(2) When induction of childbirth, it should be used 2 days before the expected date of delivery. It is forbidden to use it too early.
(3) This product can induce abortion or acute bronchospasm. Be careful when using it. Pregnant women and those with asthma and other respiratory diseases should be especially careful when handling.
